Jetty Support: Documentation

Economy Settings

Problem solved: Lets users working with Jetty’s Economy features customize that functionality.

Description: The Economy settings are available in the left hand menu, under Setup – Economy.

It consists of three blocks:

Basic Economy Settings

VAT (%) – Here the user can set a standard VAT % that will be the default for all costs and revenues. The default can be changed individually when working in the Economy block.

Primary Currency – Where the user can select a project’s base currency.

Currencies – Where the user select what currencies will be available within each project.

Currency Exchange Rates – This draws the current exchange rate, in real time! Should the user want to set a fixed exchange rate, that can be done too. Users can even make it into the default for the project. Note that exchange rate is set in the format 1 (Primary currency) : Other currency. This is showing how many units of the other currency 1 of the primary currency will buy.

Economy Categories

This section provides space for users to create template economy categories with preset behaviors. Working with preset Economy Categories, as opposed to doing so with free text in the block economy, will also ensure consistency of information.

Economy Tags

This feature gives users a place to define Account Numbers, Cost Centers, and Counterparts needed for adding accounting details to all costs and revenues.

Available fields: Described above.
